Montana Aerospace AG is a highly-vertically integrated manufacturer and supplier of system components and complex assemblies for the aerospace, e-mobility and energy sectors with worldwide engineering and manufacturing operations  has acquired 100% of the share of the Asco Group beginning of April 2022. 

For our Belgian plant we are looking for a QA System Engineer

Job description :

The QA System Engineer will plan, organize, transfer, execute and ensure timely and effective implementation of quality requirements of customer and regulatory authorities within the whole ASCO organization.

Accountabilities

1. Quality and Safety Management System

The QA System Engineer will manage and improve the ASCO Group quality management system.

  • Interact with all processes at all levels within the organization to maintain the QMS documentation following evolutions in Standards and the ASCO organization.
  • Transfer quality requirements and deploy the quality mindset within the organization by providing training and awareness sessions and leading by example.
  • Review day to day quality processes and lead continuous improvement activities to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Qualify personnel in relation to quality tasks/delegations and maintain adequate documentation.

2. Quality Monitoring

The QA System Engineer will monitor and improve Asco quality objectives.

  • Perform audits as per EN9100:2018, PART21, NADCAP and customer requirements, identify nonconformities, validate proposed root cause / corrective actions and follow up the implementation.
  • Support on the up-date, monitor and report key performance indicators.

3. Single Point of Contact 

  • Act as a single point of contact towards authorities, certification body and NADCAP regarding quality matters.
  • Ensuring smooth preparation, execution and timely closure of 3rd party audits within the organization.

 4. Quality records management

  • Establish and maintain quality records in order to obtain the necessary approvals and to comply with customer and regulatory requirements.

Profile Know How and Experience

Education: Industrial or Civil Engineer or equivalent through experience

Languages: Dutch and/or French and English, German is considered as a plus

Skills / Experience:

  • 0-3 years’ experience
  • Knowledge of a Quality System
  • Knowledge and/or proven experience of problem solving methodologies
  • Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, (knowledge of CATIA is a plus)
  • Audit skills
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Punctual, quality minded, flexible, assertive
