Quality Controller NDT (non destructive testing)

Montana Aerospace AG is a highly-vertically integrated manufacturer and supplier of system components and complex assemblies for the aerospace, e-mobility and energy sectors with worldwide engineering and manufacturing operations has acquired 100% of the share of the Asco Group beginning of April 2022.
For our Belgian plant we are looking for a Quality Controller NDT (non destructive testing)
He/she will control, measure, test as well as inspect and validate the products in order to ensure that they meet the requirements of Asco, the customer and the official authority.
General key accountabilities
1.Execute Quality Control
Execute quality control operations as requested in his/her area in order to ensure conformity of the products.
- Inspect the parts according to the defined standards
- Make the required recordings
- Check the feasibility and reliability of the inspection techniques
2.Manage documentation and materials
Manage the entire documentation and material in the QC area in order to guarantee valid inspections.
- Make sure that the correct configuration is being used
- Ensure that all equipments are within calibration
- Define parameters for NDT inspections and create ATS
3.Process non-conformities
Process detected non-conformities, treat them according to Asco procedures and assist PQA or Quality Clinic in problem-solving activities in order to prevent their reoccurrence.

4.Support Operators in QC NDT activities and method engineer
Support the operators and the method engineer with QC NDT activities and provide input to other services in order to guarantee correct inspection of parts.
- · Help ID to develop and improve toolings and fixtures parts
- · Support operators in NDT activities (ex: control Nital etch…)
5.Certification
Ensure that all documentation is completely filled in in order to provide a complete file to the certification department.
Profile, knowledge and experience
Education: Minimum basic training: A2 in mechanics or electromechanics or equal by experience. Certified minimum level 2 in methods of NDT inspection
Languages: FR or NL + basic second language knowledge + knowledge of technical English
Experiences and Skills:
- Quality Controller NDT level 2 : Minimal 6 months of relevant experience is mandatory
- Blueprint reading, test specifications (dimensional, tolerance, hardness, NDT, chemical analysis, ...) as required for the specific function
- Thorough knowledge about (the use of) all measuring, NDt test and control equipment, installations and techniques
- Geometric, Dimensioning & Tolerancing knowledge (standards, interpretation,..), if applicable
- IT knowledge: Windows, office applications (Word, Excel).
- Team player, thorough analytical skills, precise, eager to learn, good communication skills
- Senior QC: Ability to transfer knowledge to colleagues and to train others
