Program Manager

ASCO, part of the Swiss group Montana Aerospace, began operations as a private subcontractor in 1954. Today ASCO Group is engaged in a broad range of development, engineering, manufacturing and assembly activities providing multidisciplinary subcontracting services to various markets and aerospace programs around the world.

Asco operates from several locations, Belgium, Canada, Germany and USA, with a turnover exceeding 300 million euros.

Asco produces over 2,500 assemblies every month and has the ambition to be a world leader in design and manufacture of high lift devices, complex mechanical assemblies and major functional components for the aerospace industry.

Montana Aerospace AG is a highly-vertically integrated manufacturer and supplier of system components and complex assemblies for the aerospace, e-mobility and energy sectors with worldwide engineering and manufacturing operations has acquired 100% of the share of the Asco Group beginning of April 2022.

For our Belgian plant we are looking for a Program Manager.

The Program Manager is responsible for strict contract application, both by customer and Asco. He/she is the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between the customer and Asco for all commercial and contractual aspects and represents the customer within Asco. They demonstrate full ownership of the assigned programs and drive the necessary actions within the organization to meet contract requirements, program profitability and achieve customer satisfaction.

They are the Risk Manager for the allocated Programs.

 

Accountabilities

1. Contract ManagementEnsure the application of contract rules and obligations in order to manage the customer relationship

2. Internal Information distributionPerform the Business Case Review (after contract signature) in order to align the Asco organization.  He/she will understand, summarize and share the relevant information from the contrat to the rest of the organization

3. Support in the bidding and project phase : Assist in the bidding phase, upon assignment by the business development team, in order to guarantee that the offer is made per customer requirement

4. Support in the Commercial Department : Assist the business development team in the Contract Review of New Business by participating in order to maximize contracts acquisition

5. Manage mature programs : After project closure and transition to the mature phase the Program Manager will fully manage the allocated programs in order to guarantee the program profitability.

6. Ensure proper Customer Order Management and system data accuracy : To reflect customers’ requirements in the Asco ERP system and Customer’s obligation with respect to payments, the Program Manager will: be responsible for the Commercial (COM) system Data accuracy  

7. Monitor Customer Satisfaction : To ensure Asco is working towards high level of Customer satisfaction and to act as a single point of contact, he/she will consolidate and develop relationship with existing customers

8. Perform Risk management : He/she will Identify, mitigate and escalate possible risks in order to guarantee good program performance throughout the life of the program to support the corporate Risk assessment

 

Profile Know How and Experience

Education: University level (technical/economical) or equivalent by experience

Languages : Fluent in English, good knowledge of French or Dutch
