Job Description :

As Materials & Processes (M&P) Operation Engineer, you guarantee the flow down of customer and regulatory requirements to the production and monitor the compliance to it.  He/she supports, maintains and improves the surface and heat treatments processes in ASCO to guarantee the achievement of ASCO’s objectives regarding quality, lean, safety and innovation. 

1. Non-conformance management : You participate in the quality clinic in order to continuously improve quality performance within the production process.

  • Participate in teams on reported quality problems
  • Compile and/or assess corrective action reports upon rejections, both internal and cutomer complaints
  • Follow up implementation of corrective actions in conjunction with Operation teams
  • Perform follow-up audits
  • Compile audit reports and subsequent corrective action reports

2. Technical support heat treatment and surface treatment and assembly product and processes to gaurantee Asco's objectives together with operations you will try to improve the instructions, methods and tools to work in a safer, efficient and ergonomics

3. Coaching of personnel in order to ensure the respect of quality and safety requirements : Organise coaching and training sessions related to quality and process requirements on special processes.

4. Change management support : to ensure compliance to all customer and regulatory requirements

5. Audit : to ensure compliance to internal process and documents :

  • Prepare and perform internal audits within defined audit planning
  • Follow-up of non-conformance action reports, resulting from internal audits, within defined due dates
  • External audits : prepare NADCAP and customer audits

 

Profile :

Education : Bachelor or industrial engineer (in chemistry is a plus) or equal by experience

Languages : Good trilingual : Dutch/French/English

Skills / Experience :

- Experience in a technical supporting function or technical QA function an a company in which chemical processes are part of the production process

- Thorough technical knowledge and interest, in product knowledge, chemical-paint-assembly process knowledge and quality systems

- Well developed analytical skills 

- Customer oriented and act with integrity

- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills

- Good team player, flexible and efficient
