Production Planner / Delivery Coordinator

Job Description :

The Delivery Coordinator is responsible for the on time delivery (OTD) of parts from launch until shipment. He/she is the direct link between the customer and the operations organization. He/she is in charge of the implementation of the production plan, planning and monitoring of production activities, the requirements analysis (component and capacity) and the follow-up of non-conformities.

Accountabilities :

  • Take responsibility for the implementation of the production plan (scope is maximum 8 weeks ahead), planning and monitoring of production activities (adherence to production plan).
  • Perform requirements analysis
  • Be actively involved in RDR and WDQ (waste, deviation, quarantaine) processes and ensure adequate follow up
  • Ensure correctness of MRP data such as lead-times, safety stock, etc;
  • Ensure external and internal interactions : communicate the delivery plan to the customer and work closely together with the Logistic Coordinator to get the components on time from the suppliers.
  • Play an active role in Risk and Crisis Management

Profile :

Education : Industrial or Commercial Engineer or Bachelor degree

Languages : Dutch or French and English

Skills / Experience :

  • Communication skills
  • Assertive
  • Stress resistant
  • Experience in Production Planning is a plus
  • Experience in MS Office tools : Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience in Mapics is a plus
  • MRP experience is a plus
  • Experience in lean management is a plus
